Answer:

PA+AR=PR

AR= PR- PA

AR= 8x+14-(7x-11)

AR= 8x+14-7x+11

AR= x+25

Now, if A is midpoint of PR, then

PA=AR

7x-11= x+25

6x=36

x=6

Put value of x in AR

AR= 6+25= 31

Hope this will help:)

Answer: x+25

Step-by-step explanation:

Here.

   PR = 8x+14

& PA = 7x-11

and A is the mid point of PR

so according to condition , PR - PA = AR

                                             ⇒ 8x + 14 -(7x -11) =AR

                                             ⇒8x +14 -7x + 11 = AR

                                               ∴ AR = x+25

Norma-Jean [14]

Answer:

im going to be honest i havent done this since las year and so i dont remember the value of that line outside but i think its 70*

Step-by-step explanation:

reason is because the c is originally 180* but it has more of and angle so the angles obv increases and you can get the angle by multiplying 70*times 7x and divide by 3

i say 3 because of the amount of angles in a triangle and the line outside if i remember correctly is the "angles" of a triangle and that would be your answer

enot [183]
The triangles are shown to be similar, therefore

\displaystyle \frac{54}{12} = \frac{x}{2} \\ \\
x = 2 \cdot \frac{54}{12} \\
x = 9

The answer is 9 units

So car A travels Distance = 60 km/hr*(1+x)

Car B travels Distance = 75 km/hr(x)

Where x is the time in hours.

Those two equations are equal when on overtakes the other

so:

60 +60x = 75x

60=15x

x=4, but my expression is written to count from when car B commenced travel. So total time is 5 hours from the car A setting off.
