For effects of the problem we will consider each candy  as if it were a cube of side equal to the diameter
[the volume of a cube]=b³b=diameter--------> b=0.25 in[the volume of a cube]=0.25³-----> 0.015625 in³
[total volume of the candies in the machine]=120*[volume of one candy][total volume of the candies in the machine]=120*[0.015625][total volume of the candies in the machine]=1.875 in³
the answer is 1.875 in³
