The correct answer for above statement is:

A. Infrared

Explanation:

Longer wavelength radiation is of lower strength and is normally abrupt harmful patterns add radio, microwaves and infrared.infrared, is a range of the electromagnetic radiation spectrum where wavelengths vary from about 700 nanometers (nm) to 1 millimeter (mm). Infrared waves are normally larger than those of visible light but these are basically shorter than those of radio waves.

Explain how temperature inversion create severe smog episodes (can draw a picture to describe as well)
shusha [124]
In most cases, as altitude increases, the air in the troposphere cools. Vertical mixing occurs as a result of warm air rising. However, a layer of cool air may form beneath a layer of warm air on occasion. Temperature/thermal inversion refers to this deviation from normal temperature.
When an inversion occurs, polluted areas (such as London and Donora PA) experience unhealthy air and an increase in smog because pollutants are trapped at ground level rather than circulating away.

Why do winter and summer climates vary more widely in much of eastern Europe?
Zarrin [17]
Due to two factors..
The first factor is the placement of Europe in relation to latitude lines.
Up north is bound to be more cold than most places down south near the Mediterranean sea. (Which is closer to the equator)
The second factor is the physical geography of the region. Ranging from mountain ranges like the Alps and the Urals to the flat planes of much of mid Europe. The weather interacts with these regions and determines the climates making up much of the continent. (Only takes a rudimentary understanding of basic earth science and geography to understand that. What was the first ocean the Caspian Sea lost connection with, beginning the process of turning what was once a gulf into an iso
MissTica

The correct answer is - Tethys Ocean.

The Tethys Ocean was an ocean that was situated between the European and African continents, through what is now the Middle East and parts of Central Asia, and the northern half of the Indian Ocean. Because of the geologic activities, mainly the movement of the Indian plate towards Asia, and the Alpine orogenesis, the ocean was becoming smaller and smaller, and it started to be divided into smaller pieces, until it totally disappeared. One of the remains of this ocean is the largest lake in the world, the Caspian Lake, often referred to as Caspian Sea, and it can easily be seen that this body of water was once part of a much bigger body of water with saline water, because it itself has saline waters.
