I Believe That Is False, When You Take Notes You Have To Diligently Listen To Make Sure You Wrote The Correct Information So Your Mind Does Not Have Time To Wander. That Is Why People Who Write Notes Retain More Information. :)

Answer: False

Part of the purpose of writing notes is to prevent your mind from wandering. If you need to take notes on a text, you need to concentrate, and pay attention to everything you are reading. Otherwise, you will miss important points that you need to write down. If you allow your mind to wander, you cannot capture the most important information.

Are tests like ACT and SAT effective for measuring student intelligence? why or why not?
zimovet [89]

Answer:

This is a very opininated answer. ACT and SAT tests are standardized tests like many others. One test should not define a persons intelligence or knowledge. First, the SAT/ACT have specificallly "book smart" problems. This means that generally just because you do good on one of these tests, doesn't mean you are a problem solver. Another problem with the accuracy for these tests is the fact that it is one test. Someone may be a horrible test taker but get all A's. These tests do not accurately measure intelligence as well as many other things.

What impact would the Islamic republic have on young women like Marji?
Liono4ka [1.6K]

The extremists supporting Islamic law had great impact on young women like Marji.

Explanation:

In 1979 many laws were forced onto women that marked the beginning of the Islamic Revolution. According to the Iranian government, certain rules that are oppressive and discriminatory should be followed by the women.

Marjane Satrapi, a young Iranian girl was asked by her mother to be careful when walking in the road and she can’t be rebellious.

The young women were forced under this persecution to wear the veil and the education for girls were restricted. They were also stopped from dreaming and travelling. The veil was a symbol for oppression and separation.
