4 0

Answer:

You can divide 30 by 1 or 60 by 2 or 90 by 3 or 120 by 4 and so on.

TIP:    if you remove the zeros it might be easier because it is the same with 3, 3x1 is 3, 3x2 is 6, 3 x 3 is 9, 3x4 is 12 and when you are done add the zeros again.

Which of the following is a result of shifting a circle with equation (x + 3)2 + (y - 2)2 = 36 up 3 units? A. The x-coordinate o
Katen [24]

Answer:

D. (y-2) becomes (y-5) and -5 < -2

Step-by-step explanation:

When transforming functions, the following applies:

• Adding/subtracting inside the parenthesis to the input shifts the function left(+) and right(-).

• Adding/subtracting outside the parenthesis to the output shifts the function up(+) and down(-).

• Multiplying the function by a number less than 1 compresses it towards the x-axis.

• Multiplying the function by a number greater than 1 stretches it away from the x-axis.

In this situation, the circle is shifted up 3 units and the variable y which controls this is in the function. To move it up you will subtract 3 in the parenthesis for (y-2) so it becomes (y-5). This will move the vertex 3 units higher.

Find the area of a rectangle with a perimeter of 12 meters and a base of 4 meters
stepladder [879]
Considering the perimeter (P)
p = 2 \times b + 2 \times h
where b is the base and h is the height, then
12 = 2 \times 4 \times 2 \times h \\  \\ h =  \frac{12 - (2 \times 4)}{2}  \\  \\ h = 2
Being the area (A)
a = b \times h \\  \\ a = 4 \times 2 \\  \\ a = 8 {m}^{2}
