Fabric will run you from $1/yd to upwards of $20/yd, depending on what you want. If you're looking for a fairly basic fabric, you're probably going to pay around $5-8 a yard. Patterns have gotten really pricey, but here's a trick--always buy them on sale. Most fabric stores will have one or two pattern brands on sale for a couple bucks a piece at any given time, which beats the heck out of paying $20 for one. Thread is around $2.50 a spool (can be higher, depending on quantity and material), and I want to say a zipper will run somewhere in the vicinity of $3, depending on size and type.
Depending on your fabric, you're probably looking at around $25-30 total.
