Answer: The correct answer is D) deoxyribose, a nitrogen base, a phosphate group.

DNA ( deoxyribonucleic acid) is made up of small units called nucleotide ( monomer of DNA). A nucleotide of DNA consists of three smaller molecules that is a nitogenous base (adenine, guanine, thymine, and cytosine), deoxyribose sugar ( 5 -carbon sugar) and a phosphate group. Nitrogenous base is joined to sugar through glycosidic bond whereas phosphate group is joined to sugar via ester bond.

Nucleotides are joined together through phosphodiester bond and form large molecule of DNA.

Temperature is a way to measure the ___________ energy of particles of matter.
Fed [463]

Answer:

Kinetic

Explanation:

The average kinetic energy of the particles in a material is measured by temperature. The overall kinetic energy of the particles in a material is measured by thermal energy. The higher the particle mobility, the higher the temperature and thermal energy of a material.

What is the distance of what Bob traveled and whats the displacement while bob was traveling.
oee [108]

Distance travelled by Bob was 7 meters and the displacement was 5meters.

Explanation:

Distance is defined as the total length of the path travelled by a body from its initial position to final position. Displacement on the other hand is defined as the length of the straight line joining the initial position and the final position of the body.

Here, Bob travelled from point A to point C via point B which took him to travel more distance. The length of distance from point A to B is 4 meters and from point B to C is 3 meters. So the total distance covered is 4+3 meters = 7 meters.

While the length of path straight from point A to C is 5 meters. So displacement is 5 meters.
