how to find volume of a pool?? what's the formula... I'm in 7th grade and I need help finding the volume of a pool I just need a
gogolik [260]
Let's assume the pool is a rectangular block

If you know the length width and depth (or height) of the pool, then you can find the volume.

For example
length = 30 feet
width = 10 feet
depth = 8 feet
volume = length*width*depth = 30*10*8 = 300*8 = 2400 cubic feet
This is assuming that the depth stays the same throughout the pool. Though some pools (or most?) have the depth gradually get deeper as you move toward the deep-end. To keep things simple however, the assumption is that the bottom is completely flat and it doesn't gradually get deeper.

Sam buys
Paladinen [302]

Answer:

He is wrong

Step-by-step explanation:

£1.30(cost of 1 egg box) x 2=£2.60

2.60(2 egg boxes)+2.60(price of juice)=£5.20(amount spent without baguettes)

10-5.20(amount spent without baguettes)=£4.80

4.80/3=£1.60

£1.60=cost of one baguette

Sam is wrong as the cost of one baguette is £1.60

Can someone help me Thank you
Mazyrski [523]

Okay. Let’s begin!

I order to solve this problem we must u do it and redo it. We have to find the diameter and the radius

Step one: 15 divided by 3.14 (PI) which is 4.77707006. That’s the diameter. Now divide that by two for the radius which is 2.38853503

Step two: find the area

Formula: PI(r)^2

Step three: solve for the area

3.14(2.38853503)^2

Step four: answer

Your answer is.....

17.9140127. Or if ur rounding:

18.

I hope this helped!
