Answer:

30 units²

Area of a parallelogram = Base * Height

Substitute in known values

Area = 6 * 5

Area = 30 units²

Hope this helps :)

Answer:

30

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the area of a parallelogram use the equation:

A=B*H

Where A=Area, B=Base, and H=Height.

Replace known variables into the equation so the equation becomes:

A=6*5

Solve for A

6*5=30

Therefore, the area of the parallelogram ,with the base of 6 and height of 5, is 30.

Josh saved 1/4 of his pocket money and spent 1/2 of the remainder. What fraction did he spend
slavikrds [6]
Ok so since Josh spent 1/2 of his money I assume you will be subtracting in this specific question. So 1/4 - 1/2. The first step in solving this is that you want both fractions to have the same denominator. So you have to ask yourself what factor does 4 and 2 share in common. They both share the number 4 in common. So you will have to set the denominators as 4 now. Now for 1/2 you get 2/4 when you multiply both the numerator and denominatorby 2. Now you will have to do the same thing for the fraction 1/4 so the new fraction you will get when you multiply the numerator and denominator by 1 is 1/4. So now you have 1/4-2/4. Ok so your answer shouldbe 1/4. I realized I should of put the fraction 2/4 first. I hoped that helped!!!!

Determine the slope and the y-intercept of the table.
Shtirlitz [24]

To find slope use y2 - y1 / x2 - x1. I would suggest doing this twice just to make sure.

For this one, I will use the first three points. (2,2) (4,5) (6,8)

8 - 5 / 6 - 4 = 3/2

5 - 2 / 4 - 2 = 3/2 = your slope

Now, since there is no (0,y) given, we need to find the y-intercept using . . . You guessed it! Point - slope form! I will use the point (2,2)

y-y₁=m(x-x₁)

y - 2 = 3/2 (x - 2)

y - 2 = 3/2x -3

  +2            +2

Y = 3/2x -1

-1 = your y-intercept form.

Aneli [31]
I would use a proportion:

336 miles/7 hours = x miles/15 hours (cross multiply)

x= 720 miles
