Answer:

The proper amount of expenses to be included in the income statement for the year is $6,650

Explanation:

The computation of the expense amount which is included in the income statement is shown below:

= Repair expenses + electricity bill + insurance expense

= $4,650 + $800 + $1,200

= $6,650

The insurance expenses are given for the three months but we have to calculate for the 2 months only

So for two months = $1,800 × 2 ÷ 3 = $1,200

And, the wages are given for the last year which is not included in the income statement as it shows outstanding wages. So, we do not consider it.

<u>Explanation:</u>

Exclusive distribution is characterized as the arrangement under which a participant is a supplier and provider. It specifies that the seller can not offer their service or item to some other group. It attaches the contract that the commodity must be distributed to an exclusive seller. The retailer asks developers for exclusive supply as per the situation specified in the discussion. The function y= -6(x - 5)2 + 12 shows the daily profit (in hundreds of
tino4ka555 [31]

Answer:

D. Interpretation: The zeros are where the daily profit is $0.00

zeros: x = 3.586 and x = 6.414

Explanation:

We have been given the following daily profit function;

y=-6(x-5)^{2}+12

where y is the profit (in hundreds of  dollars) of a taco food truck

and x the price of a taco (in dollars)

The zeros of this profit function can be obtained by solving for x in the following equation;

0=-6(x-5)^{2}+12

These will simply be the x-intercepts of the profit function. That is the points where the profit function crosses or intersects the x-axis.

Therefore, an interpretation of the zeros of this function would be;

The zeros are where the daily profit is $0.00

These zeros can be evaluated graphically. We first obtain the graph of the profit function as shown in the attachment below;

We then determine the x values where the graph crosses the x-axis. These values will represent the zeros of our profit function. From the graph, these points are;

x = 3.586 and x = 6.414

rodikova [14]

Answer:

A business can improve its average contribution ratio and its overall profitability, by shifting its sales mix to include more products with high contribution margin ratios.

In this case American steel company shift in product mix is due to a higher proportion of export sales. This shift caused to decline net income of the company. This is because the contribution margin ratio on export sales may lower than the other product mix. So, the shift of product mix to low contribution sales will cause to decline the net income.
