How do you get the slope intercept of two points?

Pretend the two points are [-7,-7] and [-3,-6]
Use the formula
 Slope = rise/run= y2-y1
                             x2-x1

Slope= 6 - [-7]   
           -3 - [-7]
                                   so the slope equals 13/4
