If the three sets of corresponding sides of two triangles are in proportion, the triangles are similar. SAS for similar triangles is NOT the same theorem as we used for congruent triangles.

How do I quickly calculate cube roots? (Lord it's been forever since I last been on here.)
Montano1993 [528]

Using a calculator is the quickest method.

Memorizing or just knowing what the first few are.

Then there's prime factorization method. Prime factor and then find 3 groups.

Example:

Square root of 1,728

864 * 2

432 * 2 * 2

216 * 2 * 2 * 2

108 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2

54 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2

27 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2

9 * 3 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2

3 * 3 * 3 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2

Make 3 groups of the same of primes...

(3 * 2 * 2) * (3 * 2 * 2) * (3 * 2 * 2)

12 * 12 * 12 = 1,728

12³ = 1,728

Tiffany surveyed some of her classmates to find the number of times they wrote the weekly spelling words. She also found the num
Anni [7]

Options :

A.) A student who missed 2 words on the test wrote each word 4 times.

B.) A student who wrote each word once missed 6 words on the test.

C.) A student who did not write the words missed 8 words on the test.

D.) A student who missed 4 words on the test wrote each word 3 times.

Answer:

A student who did not write the words missed 8 words on the test.

Step-by-step explanation:

From the scatter plot, we could identify all the other points except that of option C.

For option A : (4, 2) is a marked point on the graph

For option B : (1, 6) is also a marked point on the graph

For option C : (0, 8) is not a marked point on the graph and hence, does not match Tiffany's scatter plot.
