Answer:

[8, 3]

Step-by-step explanation:

-3⁄7[-7x + 14y = -14] ↷

{3x - 6y = 6

{-3x + 7y = -3

_____________

y = 3 [Plug this back into both equations to get an x-value of 8]; 8 = x

So, using the Elimination Method, I decided to eliminate the <em>x</em>'s by multiplying the top equation by -3⁄7 to end up with 3x, so I can cancel that with -3x in the bottom equation [<em>additive inverses</em> ALWAYS result in zero], and to be genuine, it really does not matter which variable you choose to eliminate.

**I have a video that explains how to solve a system of equations in two to three variables. It is titled "Solving Systems of Equations". I encourage you to watch the video and gain alot more knowledge from it, so you can better understand the concept.

Marat540 [252]
Hello!

If there is 4 faces and 1/4 chance of any side end up face down, we just have to decrease one chance, so, the chance of  the face "2" does not end up face down is equal the sum of the chances of the others faces end up face down, so, we have: 3/4.

lyudmila [28]

Answer:

P=19y+15

Step-by-step explanation:

Step one:

Given data

dimension of the rectangle

Width = 8y-1.5

Length = 1.5y+9

Required

The expression to represents the Perimeter

Step two:

the perimeter of  a rectangle is expressed as

P= 2L+2W\\\\P=2(1.5y+9)+2(8y-1.5)\\\\P=3y+18+16y-3\\\\

collect like terms

P=3y+16y+18-3\\\\P=19y+15

Bridgette made a graph of her neighborhood on a coordinate grid. The points A(-2, 3), B(-2, -2), C(2, -2), and D(2, 3) represent
vodka [1.7K]

Answer:

\boxed{\text{18 blocks}}

Step-by-step explanation:

Distance travelled on graph = AB + BC + CD + DA

AB = CD  = (3 +2) = 5

BC = AD = 2 –(-2) = 4

Distance on graph = 2 × 5 + 2 × 4 = 10 + 8 = 18 spaces = 18 blocks

Bridgette jogs \boxed{\textbf{18 blocks}}each day.
