I'm not sure what specific shape you need help with but I will do the best I can to explain. Always make sure to first split the complex shape into other shapes that you are able to take the volume of such as rectangular prisms or cylinders. If you are given a picture, the smaller shapes are sometimes traced out for you. Then simply use the appropriate formula to find the volume of each smaller shape and add all these volumes to find the total.
