1. Parenting style will often inspire children when they become parents in their turn.

2. We become part of an established tradition of good parenting that helps to shape our society to get better and better.

3. Part of parent responsibility is ensuring that they bring up the next generation of citizens properly.

4. Our parents’ values and parenting styles can shape us fundamentally as people.

5. Parents teach children to function independently.

6. Parents are responsible for holding their children accountable for their behaviour and actions.

7. Parents provide for their household by providing shelter, food, clothes, medical care, spiritual care, education, and social needs for their family.

8. Parents need to teach their children how to discern rights from wrong. If children do not learn moral values from responsible parents at home they will likely adopt views of their schoolmates and those of the mass media which may not be good.

9. Being more encouraging and motivating towards a child instead of criticizing them all of the time can strengthen good qualities in a child’s behavior. Constant criticism can rip the child off their self-esteem and demoralizes them.

10. It is important to tell children positive things since constant use of negative labels such as name-calling deeply impactes a child’s sense of self and contributes to negative self narratives and self-fulfilling prophecies.

A good rule of thumb to remember is that arteries always take oxygen rich blood away from the heart to the rest of the body and veins carry oxygen poor blood back to the heart. The only two circumstances this is not the case is the Umbilical and pulmonary vasculature. Pulmonary Arteries take oxygen poor blood away from the heart to the lungs to be oxygenated and this oxygenated blood returns to the heart via pulmonary veins.
