4-(-3)/-12-(-9) = 7/-3

Y= -7/3x
-3= -7/3(-9) +b
-3= 21 + b
B= 18

Y= -7/3x + 18
Hope this helps!

Thirty-five more than .8 times a number is the same as 43 less than the product of -7 and the number.
PSYCHO15rus [73]
35 more than 8 times a number
.Let that number be x
35 more than 8 times the number x is written as 35+8x
And 43 less than the product of -7 and the number is written as 43 - -7x
=43+7x
and from the question, the two equations are equal,so we just place the equal sign between the two expression and solve for X
Thus
35+8x=43+7x
Grouping of like terms
8x-7x = 43-35
X = 8 .

A line segment has endpoints at (3, 2) and (2, –3). Which reflection will produce an image with endpoints at (3, –2) and (2, 3)?
Georgia [21]

For this case we have the following points:

(3, 2)

(2. 3)

We apply the following transformation:

(x, y) -------------> (x, -y) ----------------> (x ', y')

This transformation represents a reflection of the points on the x axis.

We have then:

(3, 2) -------------> (3, - (2)) ----------------> (3, -2)

(2, -3) -------------> (2, - (- 3)) ----------------> (2, 3 )

We observe that the points obtained are the points that are sought.

Answer:

A. a reflection of the line segment across the x-axis
