Let
AH---------------------> area of the regular hexagon
we know that
AH is equal to 6 areas of equilateral triangles (A):
AH = 6A
A= √3 * r²/4 (area of equilateral triangle)
r=20 in
then
A=√3 * 20²/4=100√3 in²
AH = 6*[100√3]=1039.23 in²

the answer is 1039.23 in²

Find the volume of the cube. *<br> Answer choices: 30 1/2, 33 3/4, 31 1/4, 32 1/3
steposvetlana [31]

Answer:

volume = wide x length x deep

            = 3{1/3} ft x 2{1/2} ft x 3{3/4}ft

             = 10/3ft  x 5/2ft    x 15/4ft

             = (10 x 5 x 15)/(3 x 2 x 4) ft^3

              = 125/4 ft^3

               = 31{1/4} ft^3

Please help !
makvit [3.9K]

Answer:

New line =3*ZX

Step-by-step explanation:

It is given that the isosceles trapezoid is dilated using a scale factor of 1/3

and a line is drawn through the center of the new dilated figure, so

let us suppose that line is EF which is drawn and it will also pass through

the center in similar way the line ZX passes through so after considering this situation, we can come to this point

\text{new Line EF}=\frac{ZX}{1/3} \\EF=3*ZX

so new line will be 3 times longer than ZX.

Rainbow [258]
 <span>The volume of a sphere is V = 4/3 x pi x r^3

The rind volume is the difference of two spheres. The radius of the inner sphere volume is, r - .1 r or .9 r. So the volume of the rind is

V = 4/3 x pi x r^3 - 4/3 x pi (.9 r )^3

V = 4/3 x pi x r^3 - 4/3 x pi x (.9^3) x r^3

Implicitly differentiating both sides with respect to t yields:

V' = ( 4 x pi x r^2 x r' ) - ( 4 x pi x (.9^3) x r^2 x r' )

This equation define the rate of change of the rind volume with respect to time.

As defined in the problem, r' = 2

As well, after 5 weeks the radius will be r = 2 * 5 = 10

V' = (4 x pi x 10^2 x 2) - (4 x pi x (.9^3) x 10 x 2)

V' = (800 x pi) - (800 x pi x (.729))

V' = (800 x pi) (1 - .729)

V' = (800 x pi)(.271)

V' = 681.09 cubic centimeters
