We know, A = p( 1 + r/n) ^nt
Here, p = 750
r = 12% = 0.12
n = 1
t = 6

A = 750 (1 + 0.12/1)^6*1
A = 750 (1.12)^6
A = 750 * 1.97
A = 1480

In short, Your Answer would be 1480

Hope this helps!

The perimeter of a rectangular concrete slab is 106 feet and its area is 570 square feet. What is the length of the longer
Sliva [168]

Answer:

The length of the long side of the rectangle is 38 ft.

Step-by-step explanation:

If we test out all possible factors, we will see that 15 x 38 is the most fitting.

Perimeter: 15 + 15 + 38 + 38 = 106 ft.

Area: 15 x 38 = 570 square ft.

38 ft. is the measurement of the long side and 15 ft. is the measurement of the smaller side.

Is the following statement a good definition? Why? An integer is divisible by 100 if and only if its last two digits are zeros.
kifflom [539]
The given statement is:
An integer is divisible by 100 if and only if its last two digits are zeros

The two conditional statements that can be made are:

1) If an integer is divisible by 100 its last two digits are zeros.

This is a true statement. If a number is divisible by 100, it means 100 must be a factor of that number. When 100 will be multiplied by the remaining factors, the number will have last two digits zeros.

2) If the last two digits of an integer are zeros, it is divisible by 100.

This is also true. If last two digits are zeros, this means 100 is a factor of the integer. So the number will be divisible by 100.

Therefore, the two conditional statements that are formed are both true.

So, the option A is the correct answer.
Yes, it is. When the definition is separated into two conditional statements, both of the statements are true

The sum of two numbers is 53 and the difference is 27. What are the numbers?
ikadub [295]

Answer:

The numbers are 39 and 14.

Step-by-step explanation:

Equation 1, sum of the numbers:

x  +  y   =  53

Equation 2, difference of the numbers:

x  -  y  = 25

System of equations:

x  +  y  =  53

x  -  y   =  25

----------------

2x = 78

x = 39

Solve for y:

39  +  y  = 53

y  =  14

The numbers are 39 and 14.
