Answer:

0.06, 3/5, 0.8

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that 0.06 is lower that 0.8 so that goes first we work out 3/5 as a decimal so that is 0.6 and we know that is bigger than 0.06 but smaller than 0.8 so it goes in the middle and we know 0.8 is the biggest

to do the fraction par it is 6/100,60/100 and 80/100

i hope that helps

Work out the volume of this sphere.
Ratling [72]

Step-by-step explanation:

Find the radius: 19 ÷ 2 = 9.5

4/3 x 22/7 x 9.5 x 9.5 x 9.5 = 3592

3592/3 =

1197.3 (Rounded to 1 decimal place)

Answer: 1197.3cm3

(I have never done area or perimeter of sphere before, but I did for other shapes. This is just my attempt using the methods I did for other shapes by the way)

Derive the equation of the parabola with the focus <br> is (-7,5) and the directrix of y=-11
Volgvan
So, notice, the focus point is at -7, 5, and the directrix is at y = -11.

keep in mind that the vertex is half-way between those two fellows, and the distance from the vertex to either one of them is "p" units, check the picture below.

with that focus point and that directrix, the half-way over the axis of symmetry will be -7, -3, that's where the vertex is at, and notice the distance "p", is 8 units.

since the parabola is opening upwards, "p" is positive 8.

\bf \textit{parabola vertex form with focus point distance}\\\\&#10;\begin{array}{llll}&#10;4p(x- h)=(y- k)^2&#10;\\\\&#10;\boxed{4p(y- k)=(x- h)^2}&#10;\end{array}&#10;\qquad &#10;\begin{array}{llll}&#10;vertex\ ( h, k)\\\\&#10; p=\textit{distance from vertex to }\\&#10;\qquad \textit{ focus or directrix}&#10;\end{array}\\\\&#10;-------------------------------\\\\&#10;\begin{cases}&#10;h=-7\\&#10;k=-3\\&#10;p=8&#10;\end{cases}\implies 4(8)[y-(-3)]=[x-(-7)]^2&#10;\\\\\\&#10;32(y+3)=(x+7)^2\implies y+3=\cfrac{1}{32}(x+7)^2&#10;\\\\\\&#10;y=\cfrac{1}{32}(x+7)^2-3

Mike has a rowboat for crossing the river. The rowboat can hold only 200 pounds without sinking. If mike has his two little brot
Elina [12.6K]

Something that could be done is to tie a rope long enough to cross the river and send the two younger brothers across first, then have Mike pull the boat back across the river with the rope and him get in the boat and row it across the river with just himself and the gear.

Another option is you can unload some gear, put the boys in the boat, row them across the river, unload the two younger boys, go back for the rest of gear and load it into the boat then come back.

Hope this helps!
