Answer: C. Because it states the band was also available on Saturday, so if it was already available then you don’t need to say the people preferred it more on Saturday then Friday.

She could of just said this: “Susan reported to the planning committee that the party would be held on Saturday due to the band being available on Saturday rather than only a few on Friday.”
