Answer:

If a cell has salt concentration of 1 % and it is placed in the solution where the concentration of salt is 10 % so Osmosis will occurs.

Explanation:

Osmosis is a type diffusion in which molecules moves from a region of higher concentration to the region of lower concentration through a semi-permeable membrane of the cell. This membrane only allows small molecules such as ions, salts, carbondioxide and oxygen gas etc. In the solution, salt concentration is very high so the salt particles moves into the cell through semi-permeable membrane.

Answer:

This is refers to as Greenstick fracture.

Explanation:

This is the type of fracture common in children less than 10 years, in which there is incomplete fracture of the bone, with ,but  the cortex  remain flexed. It is called green stick because it is analogous to the act of breaking  a branch of a tree, which is not completely broken, from the main branch.

It is usually to due to falls, and common in kids because of their soft bones which is not completely formed and therefore will not break off completely like that of adults when fractured, but only from one side only.

How does mutating the DNA affect the organism?
Evgen [1.6K]
DNA mutations create genetic variation.
They could have no visible effect, no affect at all or cause something to happen, e.g cancer, or genetic mutations in the gametes lead to genetic variation in offspring. They can also lead to genetic diseases, for example cystic fibrosis or Huntingtons disease
