How does visible Light travel through outer space?
Dima020 [189]
By the electromagnetic "vibrations" that make up light. Said EM vibrations are an electric field and a magnetic field at right angles to each other and to the direction of propagation/travel. Light travels by the same "mechanism" that X rays travel, radio waves travel and anything else in the vast electromagnetic spectrum. Probably how I'm able to type these words on a computer key board and have them transmitted "Wi Fi" like, to you, the hapless recipient. You're a Cheetah ??? That means you can run like the wind ????

If an 800.-kg sports car slows to 13.0 m/s to check out an accident scene and the 1200.-kg pick-up truck behind him continues tr
Alborosie

Answer: 20.2 m/s

Explanation:

From the question above, we have the following data;

M1 = 800kg

M2 = 1200kg

V1 = 13m/s

V2 = 25m/s

U (common velocity) =?

M1V1 + M2V2 = (M1 + M2). U

(800*13) + (1200*25) = (800+1200) * U

10400 + 30000 = 2000u

40400 = 2000u

U = 40400 / 2000

U = 20.2 m/s

What is the average speed of a train that travels at 100km/hr for 6 hours and then 120km/hr for 5 hours
Sindrei [870]

Answer:

Explanation:

Average speed = Total distance / Total time.

100 km/hr

r = 100 km / hr

t = 6 hours

d = 6 * 100 = 600 km

120 km / hr

r = 120 km / hr

t = 5 hour

d = 120 * 5

d = 600 km

Total distance = 600 + 600 = 1200 km

Total time = 5 hour + 6 hours = 11 hours.

Average speed = 1200 km / 11 hours = 109.1

You are pushing on a heavy door, trying to slide it open. if your friend stands behind you and helps you push, how have the forc
horsena [70]
I would be D, The Net Force Applied Will Increase.

Because, B would be out of the question if it's re-guarding the person's friction. Because the more you lean and push the more friction you have within your hands and feet.

Net Force is when Force is acting on a object by another force such as their hands. So if it decreases then there would be no one to open it. But if the Net Force increases then their is more force to apply it open !

Please let me know if i am correct !
