While a person's weight would be different on the moon and planets, would the amount of matter making up the person (mass) be th

e same or different? why? could someone give me a simplified answer to this question because I am having a hard time understanding this specific question. thank you.

Same. The different planet's gravity force only effects that person's mass density. However, the gravity does stretch one's molecules.

The amount of matter making up the person would be different because all planets have different pull force (gravity). This question to me is very complicated so all i know is this information..sorry.

What functional group would be expected to be found in the major, and final, organic product upon completion of the reaction bet
taurus [48]

Answer:

Ketone

Explanation:

The reaction between 1-hexyne and mercuric sulphate in the presences of aqueous sulphuric acid is a reaction that leads to the formation of a product containing a carbonyl group(a ketone in this case).

This reaction occurs in alkynes but the product formed depends on the structure of the alkyne; an aldehyde or ketone may be formed depending on the structure of the alkyne.

A sample of gold has a mass of 96.5 g and a volume of 5.00 cm3. What is the density of gold in g/cm3
viva [34]

Answer: The density would be p = 19.3 g/cm3 because

Explanation: because if you calculate density the formula would be d = m

                                                                                                                             v

so just use the values giving and you get the answer by plugging the 96.5 mass then 5 for the volume then divide it.

A titration graph shows little resistance to a change in pH at the start and has a single equivalence point of 8.6.
konstantin123 [22]

Answer: A weak acid titrated by a strong base

Explanation:

The graph refers to the titration of a weak acid such as Hydrofluoric acid with a strong base such as Sodium Hydoxide. What happens is that as the process begins, the pH rises quickly as there is little resistance to the base.

After some time the solution formed begins to act as a buffer between the remaining acid and the base. This reduces the pH change rate and will continue until the base overcomes the solution's buffering capacity.

The Equivalence point which is where the acid will be at it's base form, will be at a pH of 8.6.

I have attached a graph showing the process for better understanding.

Chemical Energy is energy stored in the bonds of chemical compounds (atoms and molecules). It is released in a chemical reaction, often producing heat as a by-product (exothermic reaction). Batteries, biomass, petroleum, natural gas, and coal are examples of stored chemical energy.

CaHeK987 [17]

Answer:

Q1: Gases, liquids and solids are all made up of atoms, molecules, and/or ions, but the behaviors of these particles differ in the three phases. ... gas are well separated with no regular arrangement. liquid are close together with no regular arrangement. solid are tightly packed, usually in a regular pattern.

Q2: Mass is how much stuff something is made of. Volume is how much space an object takes up.
