Answer:

The answer for number 4 is 40:1

Step-by-step explanation:

The answer is 40:1 because we have to change values to whole numbers.

Convert the whole number 20 to a fraction with 1 in the denominator.

When we do that, we should then have:

20 : 1/2 = 20/1 : 1/2

We also have to convert fractions to integers by eliminating the denominators.

Our two fractions have unlike denominators so we find the Least Common Denominator and rewrite our fractions as necessary with the common denominator

LCD(20/1, 1/2) = 2

We now have:

20 : 1/2 = 40/2 : 1/2

Our two fractions now have common denominators so we can multiply both by 2 to eliminate the denominators.

We then have:

20 : 1/2 = 40 : 1

Try to reduce the ratio further with the greatest common factor (GCF).

The GCF of 40 and 1 is 1

Divide both terms by the GCF, 1:

40 ÷ 1 = 40

1 ÷ 1 = 1

The ratio 40 : 1 cannot be reduced further by dividing both terms by the GCF = 1 :

Therefore:

20 : 1/2 = 40 : 1 is the answer.

Since the triangle is equilateral, all its angles are equal to 60°

AO is the bisector⇒∠OAD = 30°

AO is the hypotenuse, ∠OAD = 30°⇒

OD=5*2=10m

By the Pythagorean theorem

10^2=AD^2+5^2\\AD=\sqrt{100-25} \\AD=\sqrt{75}

AC=AD+DC=2\sqrt{75}=10\sqrt{3}

S=\frac{a^2\sqrt{3} }{4}

S=\frac{(10\sqrt{3})^2\sqrt{3}  }{4} =\frac{300\sqrt{3} }{4} =75\sqrt{3} m^2

Answer: A) S=75\sqrt{3}m²

Given that (6 3) is on the graph of f(x) find the corresponding point for the function f(-1/2x)
Vlada [557]
\bf \begin{array}{rllll}
(6&,&3)&f(x)\\
x&&y\\\\
(-\frac{1}{2}x&,&3)&f(-\frac{1}{2}x)\\\\
(-\frac{1}{2}\cdot 6&,&3)\\\\
(-3&,&3)
\end{array}

keep in mind that, a negative coefficient to "x", will make the graph reflect over the y-axis.

Problem page isabel runs 7 miles in 50 minutes. at the same rate, how many miles would she run in 75 minutes?
sammy [17]
<span>if isabel runs 7 miles in 50 minutes, then you know she runs 7/50 miles in one minute, right? So multiply that by the number of minutes she did run, and you can find the distance:

</span><span> 7
------ x 75 =
50

525
------
50

</span><span> If you plug that fraction into your calculator, you get 10.5, so 10 and a half miles.</span>
