Answer: The correct answer is -

B.physical change.

Explanation:

Melting of ice is considered as a physical change because during this process, only the physical state of water is changed from solid state (that is ice) to liquid state, which is water.

There is no formation of any new chemical substance and moreover, this change can also be reversed by freezing (giving zero degree temperature to water).

Thus, option b) is the right answer.

Both human beings and snakes have backbones, but snakes can perform more flexible movements than human beings. Why?
Mademuasel [1]

Bones of snakes are very loosely fused together like in humans. Hence these bones can move individually allowing the snakes to be really flexible. The ribs of snakes do not join like those of humans but instead, have free ends and do not have a sternum.

Hey guys what’s the best way to memorize a science fair project? I have to present one tomorrow and I’m worried
Blababa [14]

practice with people (parents, friends, siblings) and ask them to ask questions during it so you can learn how to keep focus and memorization, or practice in front of stuffed animals. read it out loud on recording, then practice saying it with the recording without the words in front of you. you'll do great! :)

which classification level is broader than the kingdom level; which branch of biology is concerned with the naming and classifyi
shtirl [24]

Domain is broader than the kingdom level.

Levels of classification that are broader than phylum are regions and kingdoms. There are five kingdoms: Monrea, Protista, Fungi, Plants.

Taxanomy is the branch of biology concerned with the naming and classifying of organisms.

Protists are described as diverse organisms because they have many different characteristics. They are either heterotrophs or autotrophs. They are also eukaryotes that are not classified as plants, animals or fungi.

Animals group of organisms includes only multicellular heterotrophs.

If two species belong to the same class, they also belong to the same taxon higher up in the hierarchy. Here they belong to the same side and kingdom.

The gradual change in a species over time is called Evolution.

The levels of classification that are broader than the phylum are domains and kingdoms.

Taxonomy is the science of naming, describing and classifying all living organisms, including plants.
