Answer:

External failure costs.

Explanation:

These are explained to be the faults or defects a customer finds out or see after receiving his good and leaves the factory or finds out when goods or services has been delivered to him/her.

This can be either internal or external. When seen to be an internal aspect of the failure, costs result from identification of defects before they are shipped to customers. Some of these could include rejected products, reworking of defective units, scrap and also downtime caused by quality problem. It is said that a firms appraisal activities creates chances greater than the chance of catching defects internally and the greater the level of internal failure costs. This is the price that is paid to avoid incurring external failure costs, which can be devastating.

gladu [14]

Answer:

The answer is E.

Explanation:

Given the information about the airline company Northern Air and their problem with Belleville airport, when we evaluate the options for any disadvantages for Northern Air we can say that;

Option A, being able to schedule flights without stopping for refueling is completely an advantage for Nothern Air.

Option B, the decline of the cost of aviation fuel over the next several years can only cause a problem if the amount they will save from their fuel costs and other costs are going to exceed the amount that will be spent on the Skybuses.

Option C, several mechanics losing their jobs is certainly not the most serious disadvantage Northern Air is going to have from this action.

Option D, the fact that none of Northern Air's competitors in the Belleville Airport are buying Skybuses is not a disadvantage for Northern Air.

Option E, the aerodynamic of the Skybus causing turbulence and therefore leading the delay for the take-off could be a serious disadvantage because of its affects to the company's strict flight schedules.

3. Price

Explanation:

A dish water is an automated machine that does the activity of washing dishes.

b.

Before going for shopping of a good, such as a dishwasher, its is advisable to do some research on the type of dish washer you want and the cost implications. It would also be important to know where the dish washers would readily be available. The following factors should be considered when a person is going to buy a product, namely;

1. Capacity: the capacity relates to the size of the dish washer and the quantity of dishes that it can take at a time. The capacity should be judged by the number of people that will be permanently residing in the house. In general there two types of capacity; standard capacity and compact size. A standard capacity size is good for a big family while a compact size dish washer is good for a couple or even someone who stays alone. Since you stay alone, a compact size would be recommended.

2. Energy saving considerations: a dishwasher that is certified by the Consortium of Energy Efficiency is one that has energy saving features. These features use lesser energy compared to other machines and can save one a lot of money in terms of electricity bills.

3. Price: the choice of the dish washer should be within the amount of money the buyer is willing to spend. Research showed that, the larger capacity dish washer was more costly than the compact size dish washer. The compact size dish washer price was within the buyers budget.
