Answer: One of the ways in which Kim earns a living is C. working as a bartender.

Explanation: 'To earn a living' means to earn the money that is required to pay for basic needs, such as food and clothing. Therefore, in order to earn a living, it is necessary to have a stable job. In that way, option C. is the correct answer since it makes reference to a bartender job, which is a stable one. In other words, it is a job for which Jim receives enough money to live. In contrast, (A.) helping Tilly in his garage does not imply earning money for doing it, and (B.) occasionally driving a bus is not a stable job, something that the word 'occasionally' indicates.

What kinds of activities can students do in the city of Nice, in France? If you could choose one, which would you pick and why?
NeX [460]

No matter where you choose to study, you’ll likely want to take advantage of your location on one of France’s most beautiful coasts to visit the surrounding area. Local trains connect the towns along the Côte d’Azur at fairly regular intervals, so you can easily pop over to Monaco for the day—or even to Italy, just a short jaunt away.

Ready any book and write 5 sentences! lmk what’s the book called ,i’ll give brainliest
astra-53 [7]

Answer:

The book is called "The Sniper" by Liam O'Flaherty and was wrote in sometime between 1897-1984. It is based around a guy named O'Connell Bridge a Republican sniper who was in the midst of the civil war. He was trapped on a rooftop building surrounding by enemy forces and was trying to find where his enemies were located. O'Connell is young with a young face around his late twenties and is the only character that has a name in the book. What surprised me most was at the end of the story where Bridge takes down a sniper who turned out to be his brother which you find out later in the story.

Hope this helps.

How does the extended metaphor in the poem "Exile" by Julia Alvarez influence the theme of the poem?
MrMuchimi

Answer: it emphasizes the displacement of the speaker's family.

Throughout the poem, the author maintains an extended metaphor about swimming. As she tells us the story of how her family escaped the island, she talks to us about swimming, drowning, the beach, the pool, etc. This is intended to emphasize the displacement of the family. Alvarez feels lost and adrift, much like we would feel if we were lost at sea.
