Answer:

The function with the largest value will be f(x)=1.5^{x}

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

As x increases beyond 25 , that means

x> 25

so

Assume  x=30

Substitute the value of x in each equation and find the value of the function, and then compare the results

case 1) f(x)=1.5^{x}

For x=30

f(30)=1.5^{30}=191,751.06

case 2) h(x)=1.5x^{2}

For x=30

h(30)=1.5(30)^{2}=1,350

case 3) g(x)=1.5x+3

For x=30

g(30)=1.5(30)+3=48

case 4) k(x)=1.5x^{3} +1.5x^{2}

For x=30

k(30)=1.5(30)^{3} +1.5(30)^{2}=41,850

therefore

The function with the largest value will be f(x)=1.5^{x}

Both circle Q and circle R have a central angle measuring 140°. The area of circle Q's sector is 25π m2, and the area of circle
taurus [48]

Solution:

we are given that

Both circle Q and circle R have a central angle measuring 140°. The area of circle Q's sector is 25π m^2, and the area of circle R's sector is 49π m^2.

we have been asked to find the ratio of the radius of circle Q to the radius of circle R?

As we know that

Area of the sector is directly proportional to square of radius. So we can write

Area  \  \   \alpha \ \  r^2\\ \\ \Rightarrow A=kr^2\\ \\ \text{where k is some proportionality constant }\\ \\ \Rightarrow \frac{A_1}{A_2}=\frac{r_1^2}{r_2^2}\\ \\  \Rightarrow \frac{r_1^2}{r_2^2}=\frac{A_1}{A_2}\\ \\  \Rightarrow \frac{r_1^2}{r_2^2}=\frac{25 \pi}{49 \pi}\\ \\  \Rightarrow \frac{r_1}{r_2}=\sqrt{\frac{25 \pi}{49 \pi}} \\ \\  \Rightarrow \frac{r_1}{r_2}=\frac{5}{7} \\

Answer:

From the perspective of the 32-year-old male,  the monetary values corresponding to surviving the year  is -$194 and for not surving the year is $109 806.

Step-by-step explanation:

If the 32 year old survives the year it means he has to pay $194  towards the policy denoted by the negative sign. However if  he does not survive the year it means he gets the death benefit - cost of the policy that is

$110 000-$194= $109 806.
