As with any formula, fill in the values you know and solve for the one you don't know.

A = (b1 +b2)/2*h
24 m^2 = (5 m +7 m)/2 * h
24 m^2 = (6 m) * h
(24 m^2)/(6 m) = h
4 m = h

The height of the trapezoid is 4 meters.
