Answer: 685 red marbles

Step-by-step explanation:

Lets set up a proportion:

x/1096 = 5/8

(For every 8 marbles, 5 of them are red)

Then we cross multiply

5480 = 8x

and divide!

so 685 marbles

What is the solution set of this equation?

I appreciate any help!! Thankyou!
Artemon [7]

Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer: -3 and 2

Discussion:

The equation to solve is:

6/m + 2 = (m+3)/(m-1)

Multiple both sides by m * (m-1).

6/m * (m*(m-1)) + 2 m (m-1) = (m+3)/(m-1) * (m(m-1))

Simplify:

6 (m-1) + 2 m (m-1) = (m+3)*m =>

6m -6 + 2m^2 - 2m = m^2 + 3m =>

2m^2 +4m - 6 = m^2 + 3m. Subtract m^2 and 3m from both sides

m^2 + m - 6 = 0. Factor this equation.

(m +3) ( m-2) = 0 so the solution set is -3 and 2

If it is completely impossible to put a contract in writing, which of the following would be the best substitute?
I am Lyosha [343]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

Because the the contract will be in verbal form. no matter if it is videotaped or recorded or both a "videoed verbal contract" not just written. so like paper thst is notarized or not this is still the same bc the the same rules apply the contract is still valid. the rest of the options are more like what they call gentlemens agreements which would be the handshake type of thing. and no matter what any agreement someone has to witness the transaction or contract. so definitely the answer is B
