Yes they are, an organ is made of several types of tissue and therefore several types of cells. For example, the heart contains muscle tissue that contracts to pump blood, fibrous tissue that makes up the heart valves, and special cells that maintain the rate and rhythm of heartbeats

A 64 N object is lifted to a height of 5 m. What is the potential energy<br> of this object?
e-lub [12.9K]
Answer:

320J

Explanation:

Given Weight = 64

Mass = Weight / Acc. due to gravity
M = 64/10
M = 6.4kg

Potential Energy = mass * acc. Due to gravity * height

PE = MGh
PE = (6.4)(10)(5)
PE = 320

Note: Acceleration due to gravity is

The doctor ordered a lateral neck x-ray to r/o epiglottitis. the most important nursing action is:
Mamont248 [21]

The most important nursing action is to request portable X-ray film be taken in the emergency department.

Epiglottitis is inflammation of the epiglottis. One of the way for detection of epiglostis is using the X-ray. X-rays of the neck from the side may show a "thumbprint sign" which is the sign that the epiglottitis is present.

Diabetes is a disease characterized by the inability to break down sugars. Often a person with diabetes has a defective DNA sequ
Daniel [21]

Answer:

The new CCC codon codes for proline, while the original CCA codon also encodes for proline

Explanation:

A synonymous substitution is a mutation produced by the substitution of one nucleotide for another in an exonic gene segment which doesn't modify the original amino acid in the protein sequence. Moreover, a silent mutation is any alteration in the nucleotide sequence that does not produce an observable effect on the organism's phenotype. The example above describes a synonymous substitution because the new codon (CCC) also codes for the same proline amino acid as the original non-mutated codon, thereby the resulting protein sequence remains unchanged. Consequently, in this case, mutations associated with diabetes are located at other gene regions. The genetic code is degenerate because different codons can code for the same amino acid.
