A skin cell in G2 of interphase has twice as much DNA as it had in G1.

A skin cell is somatic cell that undergoes mitosis (cell division). Mitosis together with interphase is part of the cell cycle.

Interphase also known as a phase for the preparation for division consists of three phases:

• G1- cell becomes larger, copies organelles, and makes the building blocks necessary for the new cell

• S-cell copies its DNA in the nucleus (that is why G2 phase has twice as much DNA as it had in G1)

• G2 – cell continues to grow, makes proteins and organelles.

During the mitosis, the cell separates its DNA into two and divides its cytoplasm, forming two new daughter cells.

It is probably the l<span>amellae.
The lamellae are sheets of bony matrix. This bony matrix is produced by o</span>steoblasts, which are cells that synthesise collagen<span> and specialised proteins like </span>osteocalcin<span> and </span>osteopontin. These are then the most important constituents of the bony matrix.

natima [27]

Answer:

The correct answer is option C. "Longer beaks allow the birds to better access seeds in bird feeders".

Explanation:

Since climate change makes more difficult for "<em>Parus major</em>" birds to feed from its primary source of food in gardens, the birds are adapting to access their second source of food, which is the bird feeder. Longer beaks allow the birds to better access seeds in bird feeders, therefore, the birds are developing longer beaks in order to adapt to their new conditions.
