If it was just for random figure, then compare the original figure with the other figures. Take the other figure and put them in the same direction as the orignal one. For example if there was a large square, and then a small square put in the position as a diamond and a rombus. Flip the small diamond to look like the square. Flip the rombus and diamond until they look like they have similar sides as the orginal large square. You will find the answer is the small square. Hope this helped. If not, tell me and see if I can think of a better easier example. :)

WHich of the following sets of integers is a Pythagorean triple?
aalyn [17]
Pythagorean theorem states that:
c^2=a^2+b^2
where:
c=hypotenuse
a and b are the legs
this implies that, a and b are shorter than c; thus to find the Pythagorean theorem we look for values that satisfy the above equation, where c is the longest side.
17^2=15^2+9^2
thus (17,15,9) are Pythagorean triple.

13^2=5^2+12^2
Thus (5,12,13) are Pythagorean triple

12^2≠6^2+8^2
Thus they are not Pythagorean triple

6^2=5^2+3^2
Thus (3,5,6) are not Pythagorean theorem.

Find the distance :
faltersainse [42]
1. You would do 45 × 3 = 135 miles
2. 630 ÷ 2 = 315. 630 + 315 = 945 miles
3. 54 × 11 = 594 miles

1. Time is distance ÷ speed, so 4760 ÷ 560 = 8 1/2hours
2. 27 ÷ 54 = 0.5 hours, or 30 minutes
3. 1748 ÷ 437 = 4 hours

I hope this helps!
