Okie, so commission is basically money you get in the form of a percent of what you sell. So if you get 10% commission and you sell something that is $100, you will earn 10 dollars. So if his commission is 4% (0.04 as a decimal) and he sells $15,000 then he earns (0.04) x ($15,000) = $600 he earns.
I hope this helps :-)

What is X and how do I find it??
rjkz [21]

Answer:

x ≈ 10.92

Step-by-step explanation:

Using the sine ratio in the right triangle

sin83° = \frac{opposite}{hypotenuse} = \frac{x}{11}

Multiply both sides by 11

11 × sin83° = x, thus

x ≈ 10.92 ( to 2 dec. places )

What is the expression (a^2+b^2)^2 is equivalent to
netineya [11]
(a^2+b^2)^2
since (a+b)^2=a^2+2ab+b^2, substitute a with a^2 and b with b^2, which yields:
a^4+2(a^2*b^2)+b^4

Write the equation of the circle graphed below.
Ksenya-84 [330]

Answer:

(x + 1)^2 + (y - 1)^2 = 74

Step-by-step explanation:

By looking at the graph, we can see the center of the circle is (-1, 1).

Next, we can find the radius. We are given the point (6, -4) is on the circle. The distance from the center to a point on a circle is the radius. We can plug the points (-1, 1) and (6, -4) into the distance formula to get the radius:

r = √([-1-6]^2 + [1-(-4)]^2)

r = √(49 + 25)

r = √74

The equation of a circle is denoted in the form:

(x - h)^2 + (y - k)^2 = r^2

where (h, k) is the center and r is the radius.

We can plug in the values we calculated:

(x + 1)^2 + (y - 1)^2 = 74
