If you go to a shop to get some sweets, and some drinks. Your mother says to get the smallest amount of food you can get, but the amount of drinks have to be the same as the amount of sweets. The sweets come in packs of 6 and the drinks come in packs of 3.
You will need the lowest common multiple to find out how many drinks and sweets you will need.

Determine which answers are solutions of the inequality 2x + 1 > 5
svet-max [94.6K]

Answer:

A and E

Step-by-step explanation:

2x + 1 > 5

So, subtract the 1 from both sides,

2x > 4

x > 2

So anything greater than 2...

7 and 3 are greater than 2.

A and E.

Find the exponential function P(t)=P0a^t where P(2)=5 and P(4)=10
asambeis [7]

Answer:

P(t)=\frac{5}{2} \cdot (\sqrt{2})^t

Step-by-step explanation:

P(2)=5 meants when t=2, that the value for P(t) is 5.

So this gives us this equation:

5=P_0 \cdot a^2

P(4)=10 meants when t=4, that the value for P(t) is 10.

So this gives us this equation:

10=P_0 \cdot a^4

So I take equation 2 and divide it be equation 1 I get:

\frac{10}{5}=\frac{P_0 \cdot a_4}{P_0 \cdot a_2}

Simplifying:

2=a^2

Since the base for an exponential function can't be negative then a=\sqrt{2}.

So plugging into one of my equations I began with gives me an equation to solve for the initial value,P_0:

5=P_0 \cdot (\sqrt{2})^2

5=P_0 \cdot 2

Divide both sides by 2:

\frac{5}{2}=P_0

The function is:

P(t)=\frac{5}{2} \cdot (\sqrt{2})^t

She has found that 5 out of 7 seeds produce corn. She wants to have 10,000 corn bearing plants. How many seeds should see plant
Anton [14]
It would take 70,000 seeds if five out of seven are good. So over a quantity of 50,000 plants desired, you would sow 70,000 seeds.  As 20,000 would statistically fail.
