Answer:

Explanation:

For a convex mirror, the value of its image distance and its focal length are negative.

using the mirror formula 1/f = 1/u+1/v

f is the focal length = Radius of curvature/2 = 0.560/2

f= 0.28m

u is the object distance = 10.6m

v is the position of the image = ?

On substitution;

1/0.28 = 1/10.6 + 1/-v

3.57 = 0.094 - 1/v

3.57 - 0.094 = -1/v

3.476 = -1/v

v = -1/3.476

v = -0.2877m

B) Since the image distance is negative, this means that the image is an upright and a virtual image. All Upright images has their image distance to be negative.

C) Magnification = Image distance/object distance

Magnification  = 0.2877/10.6

Magnification = 0.0271

If you dribble a basketball with a frequency of 1.77 Hz, how long does it take for you to complete 12 dribbles?
Licemer1 [7]

It takes 6.78 seconds to complete 12 dribbles.

Explanation:

Frequency of dribble = 1.77 Hz

That is

         Number of dribbles in 1 second = 1.77

         \texttt{Time taken for 1 dribble = }\frac{1}{1.77}=0.565s

Now we need to find how long does it take for you to complete 12 dribbles.

         Time taken for 12 dribbles = 12 x Time taken for 1 dribble

         Time taken for 12 dribbles = 12 x 0.565

         Time taken for 12 dribbles = 6.78 seconds

It takes 6.78 seconds to complete 12 dribbles.

Science not has only achievements but also challenges justify with an example
statuscvo [17]
For example science has discovered many amazing things like atoms,molecules which led to the development of nuclear reactors etc. Challenges would be like trying to prove theories like evolution for 100 of years trying to discover all the stuff we still don’t know exists all the mysteries of life. A lot of science is still theory we can’t prove some things until we have more advanced technology etc.

What is the magnitude of the momentum of a 3400 kg airplane traveling at a speed of 450 miles per hour?
Vitek1552 [10]

Answer:

The magnitude of momentum of the airplane is 6.83\times 10^5\ kg-m/s.

Explanation:

Given that,

Mass of the airplane, m = 3400 kg

Speed of the airplane, v = 450 miles per hour

Since, 1 mile per hour = 0.44704 m/s

v = 201.16 m/s

We need to find the magnitude of momentum of the airplane. It is given by the product of mas and velocity such that,

p=mv

p=3400\ kg\times 201.16 \ m/s

p=683944\ kg-m/s

or

p=6.83\times 10^5\ kg-m/s

So, the magnitude of momentum of the airplane is 6.83\times 10^5\ kg-m/s. Hence, this is the required solution.
