The result of the treaty was that France gave up all of its territories in North America and ended the military threats to British colonies. The call for peace talks was made by French King Louis fifteenth. He wanted to end the seven years of war. as they were expensive. The British government had to finance the war with debt. During the war the British won many territories in Americas, India and the Caribbean.
