First you can also divide by twelve.

12/6=2

72/6=12

12*6=72

12/6=2

72/12=6

Final answer: \boxed{=72}

Hope this helps!

Which of the following are polynomial functions? Check all that apply.
steposvetlana [31]

Answer:

C and E

Step-by-step explanation:

A polynomial is a function where the only operation is an exponent on the variable. It can have just one term or many terms. For example, x^2 is a polynomial but x^2 / x+3 is not since it also contains division. This is a rational. Using this definition then only C and E are polynomials.

Choice A has a rational term. This is not polynomial.

Choice B has an exponent of -2 which is actually division. This is rational and not polynomial.

Choice D has a radical term with the variable. This is not polynomial.

Answer:

260cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Base = 20cm

Height = 13cm

Area of a parallelogram = Base * Height

7th Grade Math (Please help me with this question I'm confused with this one)
Vlad [161]

Answer:

To subtract a number from another number, the sign of the number (which is to be subtracted) should be changed and then this number with the changed sign, should be added to the first number

Step-by-step explanation:

(i) Evaluate (+6) – (+2)

= (+6) + (-2) (charging the sign of the number to be subtracted and then adding)

On subtracting smaller number 2 from bigger number 6; we get 6 – 2 = 4

Since, the sign of bigger number is + (positive)

= +4 or 4

Therefore, (+6) – (+2) = 4

(ii) Evaluate (+5) – (-3)

= (+5) + (+3) (charging the sign of the number to be subtracted and then adding)

We know, to add a positive (+ ve) number to a positive (+ ve) number, the numbers should be added and positive sign should be attached to the sum obtained.

= +8

Therefore, (+5) – (-3) = 8
