Answer:

x = - 6

Step-by-step explanation:

given the 2 equations

3x + 5y = - 13 → (1)

2x - 3y = - 15 → (2)

To eliminate y from the equations we require their coefficients to be equal so that when we add the equations y is eliminated

multiply equation (1) by 3 and equation (2) by 5

9x + 15y = - 39 → (3)

10x - 15y = - 75 → (4)

add (3) and (4) term by term

(9x + 10x) + (15y - 15y) = (-39 - 75 )

19x = - 114 ( divide both sides by 19 )

x = - 6

To find y substitute x = - 6 into either (1) or (2)

What is the fully simplified expression for the perimeter of this paddock?
fomenos

The simplified expression for perimeter is: 24x+39

Further explanation:

The closed line which forms the boundary of any geometric figure is called perimeter.

To find the perimeter we take sum of all sides of figure

Let P be the perimeter of the given figure

P=(9+8x)+7x+8x+7x+(19-8x)+(7x-3)+(14-5x)\\=9+8x+7x+8x+7x+19-8x+7x-3+14-5x\\=8x+7x+8x+7x-8x+7x-5x+9+19-3+14\\=24x+39\\

The simplified expression for perimeter is: 24x+39

PLEASEEEE HELPPP ITS DUE IN 15 MINUTES!! the exponential regression representing the population of Lazy Town as a function of ti
Advocard [28]

Given:

R^2=0.92,a=8000,b=0.9.

Exponential regression model is

y_1\sim a(b)^{x_1}

To find:

The exponential regression representing the population of Lazy Town as a function of time in years.

Solution:

Exponential regression model is

y_1\sim a(b)^{x_1}       ...(i)

We have, a=8000,b=0.9.

Substituting a=8000 and b=0.9 in (i), we get.

y_1\sim 8000(0.9)^{x_1}

Therefore, the exponential regression representing the population of Lazy Town as a function of time in years, is y_1\sim 8000(0.9)^{x_1}.

This is geometry please help 30 points!
frutty [35]

Answer:

sin; 7.7

Step-by-step explanation:

✔️Reference angle = 50°

Length of side opposite to reference angle = b

Hypotenuse = 10

✅The trigonometric function to use is sin

✔️To find b (opp), we would use:

Sin 50 = opp/hyp

Sin 50 = b/10

10 × sin 50 = b

b = 7.66044443 ≈ 7.7 (nearest tenth)
