Answer:
Explanation:
I plan on powering homes in Nigeria with the use of wireless solar power , which is very much achievable. I am a research engineer at pragro technology, I am a lead engineer in this project but I don't have both the qualification to head the project and the technical understanding needed to achieve this project.
That is why I want to study at Oklahoma university for my masters. During the cause of my research, I came across, Dr. Ali imran, he has wide experience in the field of wireless communication, also Dr Theodor rulnoffson , his research area has always been on complex power systems and renewable energy, I want to work with these two professors, I will take some courses ,both at practical level with this professor for me to have a good understanding of the project I want to achieve in Nigeria. I already have an idea of wireless communication I was able to power a DC bulb without the use of wires during my undergraduate days. So I shouldn't have a problem while working with this professors. I believe if I can get my masters and also the technical understanding of from this professors, I can head the wireless power transfer in Nigeria because I will be fully loaded with technical knowledge and qualification for the project.
The answer is C: perceived control
Dutch researcher Geert Hofstede identified four cultural dimensions by studying data on IBM employees from dozens of countries.
The original theory has four dimensions along which cultural values identified as:
- individualism-collectivism
- uncertainty avoidance
- power distance in social hierarchy
- masculinity-femininity
Hofstede's theory is used to understand the differences in cultures round the globe. He started this model on the basis of dissimilarities in values and beliefs relating work goals. The aim of this model was to determine the dimensions in which cultures vary from each other . It is important because it gives useful information regarding variances between countries' culture, values and beliefs and how to manage such cultural differences".
