To find the inverse, interchange the variables

so the Answer is 4 - 1 (x) = - 5 + 2x well thats your answer Hope this helps :)

Step 1:Replace f (x) with y

so y = x + 5 and the denominator 2

Step 2:Interchange the Variables x = y + 5 but the denominator stays the same

Now solve for y

since y is on the right of the equation switch sides so its on the left side

Step 3:y + 5 and the denominator 2 equals x

Step 4: Still solve for y Which is y = - 5 + 2x

Step 5: Solve for y and replace with 4 - 1 (x) to show the final Answer

Now the Answer is 4 - 1 (x) = - 5 + 2x

Triangle ABC is reflected across the x-axis, and then across the y-axis. Which rotation is equivalent to this composition of tra
larisa [96]

Answer:

C) 180 degree rotation

Step-by-step explanation:

While reflecting a point, with coordinates as (x, y), over x axis the new co-ordinates become (x, -y)

⇒(x, y) → (x, -y)

While reflecting a point, with coordinates as (x, y), over y axis the new co-ordinates become (-x, y)

⇒(x, y) → (-x, y)

So, when these two operations are combined, they the rule followed is,

⇒(x, y) → (-x, -y)

We also know that while rotating a point, with coordinates as (x, y), 180° the new co-ordinates become (-x, -y)

⇒(x, y) → (-x, -y)

Therefore, reflecting a point over x axis and then over y axis will yield the same result as rotating a point 180°.

Assume that male and female births are equally likely and that the birth of any child does not affect the probability of the gen
Aleksandr-060686 [28]

Let X be the number of boys in n selected births. Let p be the probability of getting baby boy on selected birth.

Here n=10. Also the male and female births are equally likely it means chance of baby boy or girl is 1/2

P(Boy) = P(girl) =0.5

p =0.5

From given information we have n =10 fixed number of trials, p is probability of success which is constant for each trial . And each trial is independent of each other.

So X follows Binomial distribution with n=10 and p=0.5

The probability function of Binomial distribution for k number of success, x=k is given as

P(X=k) = (10Ck) 0.5^{k} (1-0.5)^{10-k}

We have to find probability of getting 8 boys in n=10 births

P(X=8) = (10C8) 0.5^{8} (1-0.5)^{10-8}

= 45 * 0.0039 * 0.25

P(X = 8) = 0.0438

The probability of getting exactly 8 boys in selected 10 births is 0.044

Which expression has the same value as 97.6 – (-77.8)?
11111nata11111 [884]

Answer:

97.6 + 77.8

Step-by-step explanation:

97.6-(-77.8)

= 97.6+77.8

97.6+77.8= 175.4

97.6-(-77.8) = 175.4

Given f(x)=3x-1 and g(x)=-x+6 find f(-2)+g(5)
olasank [31]

Given f(x)=3x-1 and g(x)=-x+6 find f(-2)+g(5)

f(-2)+g(5) = 3(-2) - 1 + (-5 + 6)

f(-2)+g(5) = -6 - 1 + 1

f(-2)+g(5) = -6

Which two triangles are congruent by the HL theorem? The diagrams are not to scale.
SOVA2 [1]
Hello there, and thank you for posting your question here on brainly.

The HL Theorem is when two triangles don't look the same but have the same side lengths.

I'm pretty sure triangles a and c are congruent.

Hope this helped!! ☺♥
