Which strategy best explains how to solve this problem? Amber is starting a garden. She plants 2 flowers the first month. The ne

xt month, she plans three times more flowers (6 flowers). Each month, Amber plants three times more flowers than the previous month. How many flowers will Amber plant in the 4th month?
   A. Write a number sentence. (2 × 4) + 2 + 6 = x Multiply 2 flowers by the 4th month, then add the number of flowers from the first and second month.
   B. Make a table. In the first row, write 1st month - 2 flowers. In the next row, write 2nd month - 3 flowers. In the third row, write 3rd month - 4 flowers. Continue the pattern to find how many flowers Amber will plant in the fourth month.
   C. Draw a diagram. Use dots to represent flowers. Draw 2 dots for the first month. Draw 6 dots for the next month. Do this two more times and keep tripling the previous number of flowers to find the number of flowers planted in the fourth month.

250 students out of 3,000 have found that math is their favorite subject among 10 subjects they are studying. If the choice of f
Oksi-84 [34.3K]

Answer:

The randomization distribution is created under the assumption that H₀: p = 0.1

The randomization distribution will also be centred at 0.1

Step-by-step explanation:

If the distribution was truly random, 1 out of 10 students will choose math as his/her favorite subject.

This means that the randomization will have the null hypothesis saying that the proportion of students who will choose maths as their favourite subject = 0.1

Mathematically, it'll be written as

The null hypothesis is given as

H₀: p = 0.1

And the randomization distribution will be centred at 0.1 too.

The alternative hypothesis will now prove the theory they're looking to see in the question that

Hₐ: p < 0.1

Hope this Helps!!!
