Answer: x=4,y=-5

Step-by-step explanation:

Equation: 5x-4y=20

To find the x intercept make y=0 so ur left with

1)5x-4(0)=20

Then you can solve x from here

2) 5x=20

Because -4 * 0 = 0

3) x= 20/5

Because we want x by itself so we divide 5 on both side so the 5 cancels out on the left side

4) x=4

Because 20/5=4

———————————————-

You do the same thing for y make x equal to zero and that’s how you find it

Bags of 10 sold 2430 apples one day
Butoxors [25]
If I am interpreting your question (which you did not ask), you want to know how many bags were sold.

2430/10 = 243 bags with 10 apples in each bag were sold.

For all integers n, if n2 is odd, then n is odd. Use a proof by contraposition, as in Lemma 1.1. Let n be an integer. Suppose th
Reil [10]
Let's assume that the statement "if n^2 is odd, then is odd" is false. That would mean "n^2 is odd" leads to "n is even"

Suppose n is even. That means n = 2k where k is any integer.

Square both sides

n = 2k
n^2 = (2k)^2
n^2 = 4k^2
n^2 = 2*(2k^2)

The expression 2(2k^2) is in the form 2m where m is an integer (m = 2k^2) which shows us that n^2 is also even.

So this contradicts the initial statement which forces n to be odd.
