Im doing this question rn and I believe the answer should be C) the ratio of the student body that are in 12th grade and play two or more sports.

Step-by-step explanation: I chose this bc there are 28 12th graders that play 2 or more sports and the total student body is 612. So 28/612 makes most sense to me. Sorry this is so late but I just checked and it’s right!

A company sells cookies in 250-gram packs. When a particular batch of 1,000 packs was weighed, the mean weight per pack was 255
AURORKA [14]
Let X be a random variable representing the weight of a pack of cookies.
P(X < 250) = P(z < (250 - 255)/2.5) = P(z < -5/2.5) = P(z < -2) = 1 - P(z < 2) = 1 - 0.97725 = 0.02275 = 2.3%

Therefore, we conclude that about 2.3% of the packs weighed less than 250 grams.

A CD has a 5% chance of being a smash hit and profiting $5.2 million, a 50% chance of being a modest success and profiting $0.9
Zinaida [17]
The probability of profiting $5.2 million is 5% = 0.05

The probability of profiting $0.9 million is 50% = 0.5

The probability of breaking even, meaning no profit gain, is 45% = 0.45

Expected profit values of the CD is given by
(0.05×5.2) + (0.5×0.9) + (0.45×0) = 0.26+0.45+0 = 0.71 million
