Any triangle with a right angle in it is a right triangle. The 3rd selection is appropriate.

If its less then 90 its acute but if its more than 180 its obtuse.
soooo i'd say it is right, scalene.
scalene means the measurements are all different isosceles is two the same and since it says one measurement is a right angle it automatically makes the measurements 90, 22, and 68

What are the solutions of this quadratic equation?

4x2 + 3 = 4x + 2
never [62]

Answer:

A. x = 1/2

General Formulas and Concepts:

Pre-Algebra

  • Equality Properties

Algebra I

  • Terms/Coefficients
  • Factoring
  • Standard Form: ax² + bx + c = 0
  • Solving quadratics

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Define

Identify

4x² + 3 = 4x + 2

Step 2: Solve for x

  1. [Equality Property] Rewrite in standard form:                                                 4x² - 4x + 1 = 0
  2. Factor:                                                                                                               (2x - 1)² = 0
  3. Solve:                                                                                                                x = 1/2

Which linear equation has no solution? 5x+12=5x−7
soldier1979 [14.2K]

Answer:

Trying to solve this leads to an absurdity, so No Solution.

Step-by-step explanation:

5x+12=5x−7

Lets attempt to solve:

Subtract 5x from both sides

5x - 5x + 12 = 5x - 5x - 7

0 + 12 = 0 - 7

12 = -7

This is absurd so there is no solution.

Please help!?
Alex787 [66]

Answer:

x=63.25

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi there!

We're given ΔDEF with m<E=90°, m<D=49°, DE=55, and EF=x

we need to find the value of x

Let's use trigonometry to do it

Since we are given the measures of the 2 legs (the sides that make up the 90° angle), let's use tangent, specifically tan(49), since we are given the measure of that angle

Recall that tangent is \frac{opposite}{adjacent}

in reference to m<D (the angle that is 49°), the opposite side is EF (x) and the adjacent side is DE (55)

so tan(49)=\frac{x}{55}

plug tan(49) into your calculator; remember to have the calculator on degree mode

tan(49)≈1.15 (rounded to the nearest hundredth)

so that means:

1.15=\frac{x}{55}

multiply both sides by 55 to clear the fraction

63.25=x

Hope this helps!

Mark all the relative minimum points in the graph
Dominik [7]

Answer:

(-5,1) (1,-5), (5,-1)

Step-by-step explanation:

Relative minimum points are the parts of the graph where the lines dip the lowest on the y-axis.

Going from left to right,the minimum points are
