Answer:

Your adolescent faces a similar situation as he prepares for the time when he will “leave his father and his mother.” (Genesis 2:24) True, that day may be a long way off; your adolescent is not yet an adult. In a sense, though, he is already packing. Throughout the teen years, he is examining the values he has been raised with, and he is deciding which ones he will take with him into adulthood. *

Explanation:In contrast, consider the experience of youths in many lands who are herded into overcrowded schools where the only meaningful association they have is with other youths. When they come home, the house is empty. Dad and Mom both work. Relatives live far away. The group they have easiest access to is made up of their peers. It is not just a matter of falling in with the wrong crowd. Researchers have found that even exemplary youths tend to succumb to irresponsible behavior if they are isolated from the world of adults. I hope this helps you.

In the song "Revolutionary Tea," why do all of the stanzas end with a phrase repeated three times? Select all that apply.
tamaranim1 [39]

The correct answer is the following: option b and option d. In the song "Revolutionary Tea" all of the stanzas end with a phrase that is repeated three times. This happens because the song is based on the form of a traditional English country song, which follows a poetic style of writing, in which repetition is used to enhance the lyricism and therefore create more enthusiasm to the writing. It was also used as a rhythmic refrain to be sung by groups of people in taverns during those times, so if the song had a good repetition through it, it ensured that it would rhyme and that groups of people in taverns or bar would be more inclined to sing them together.

There have been many film adaptations of Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein. How do most film adaptations differ from the origina
PolarNik [594]
It looks like you answered your own question, but they also change the theme of the story from one of abandonment, control, and approval/validation.

Frankenstein creates his monster after his mother dies, leaving him feeling abandoned.

His creation is an attempt to give life without the need for a woman (controlling life).

The monster spends much of the story seeking validation from his creator, who wants nothing to do with him. In some sense, this parallels Victor's inability to cope with his mother's loss, except that Victor is still very much alive. I'm sure many people view this as a religious allegory (God abandoning humans).

I don't recall catching any of that in the movies. Instead, they turn it into the typical battle against the unknown/unfamiliar. The monster is not understood, and is grotesque looking, so the people want it gone. Of course, none of the pitchforks and torches are ever carried in the novel.

Of course, there's also the issue of Frankenstein's presentation on screen. In the book, he's clearly described as being yellow; yet, in most of the movies, he's green. Oh, and Frankenstein never yells "it's alive!"
