Society uses a lot of internet and television to encourage conformity. Like eating health and buy products (and such.) But they also use it to convince people to do things, such as trends (where everyone wants to wear whats trendy) and even changing opinions. They show you something like a famous well known actor buying something, then the sale rates skyrocket. They show you celebrities getting in trouble or telling people how some things are wrong. then people think "im not gonna do that"
