I would say that what these three countries are proposing a form of free trade by removing tariffs so that they will allow products from the other 2 countries to enter their economy freely and this can work provided that each country has strong and unique products that the other countries will buy without damaging the economy of any of the countries.

S_A_V [24]

Answer:

$50,153,400

Explanation:

The formula is to increase the income tax expense for the year by any decrease in income tax payable or decrease income tax expense by any increase in income tax payable for the year

Step 1: Calculate the Increase/Decrease in Income tax payable from 2016-2017

=Income tax Payable for 2017= $563,181,600

Income tax Payable for 2016= $274,010,600

=563,181,600-274,010,600= $289,171,000 - This represents an increase in income tax payable from 2016-2017

Step 2: Decrease the Reported Income Tax by the Increase in Income Tax payable as calculated in Step 1.

= $339,324,400-$289,171,000= $50,153,400

Cash Payments made for Income Taxes During 2017 is $50,153,400

If the P/E ratio of a company's common stock were 12, and its earnings were $2.50 per common share:A. the market value of the co
KengaRu [80]

Answer:

C. an increase in earnings of $0.20 per share, with no change in the multiple, would result in a market price increase of $2.40 per share.

Explanation:

The P/E ratio (also sometimes called "the multiple") is simply the current price per share divided by the earnings per share. (Price / Earnings = P/E) If you multiply both sides of that equation by Earnings, you get Price = P/E * Earnings.

So if you have P/E = 12 and Earnings = $2.50/share, the price would be 12 * 2.50/share = $30/share. That means a) and b) are both wrong.

It also means that 12 times the change in earnings will tell you the change in price (if the P/E multiple doesn't change). So a 0.20 rise in earnings will raise the stock price by 12 times that amount or $2.40/share. So c) is the correct answer.
