The answer is 1
I'm not sure what letter though because you wrote both a and c as 1

Here is a good way to think about it

<span>10^{4} =10000</span>
10^{3} =1000
<span>10^{2} =100
</span><span>10^{1} =10
</span><span>10^{0} =1
</span><span>10^{-1} =.1
</span><span>10^{-2} =0.01
</span><span>10^{-3} =0.001
</span>10^{-4} =0.0001

If the shapes are similar and the smaller trapezoid's long base is half of the big trapezoid's long base than that means that the small trapezoid's short base would be half of the big trapezoid's short base.

A triangle has height 15in. and area 120in squared. what is the length of its base?
Brums [2.3K]
The formula for the area of a triangle is Area=.5(b)(h)

So fill in what you know:

120=.5b*15

Then solve for b.

120=7.5b
b=16
