-Global warming, increased precipitation, salt mixtures, wind, and waves.

Global warming due to unsustainable quantities of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere seems to be the predominant cause of high SST levels nationwide. Heat from the heating atmosphere elevates ocean temperature. Rai affects the oceans temperature dramatically, this is because the mixing of salt water with organic water. The adding dilutes the salt water, over time the diffusion of salt can cause heat. In addition the waves that the ocean produces leads to increased temperatures. This is because the currents transport heat energy, moving warm equatorial to the poles. They also begin to pull the colder water towards the equator causing the dispersion of heat.

Answer:

Ocean currents, air currents, rotation of the earth.

Explanation:

ocean currents can effect the temperature of the water. air currents can bring in dry warm air, like over Africa and help warm the sea more, or cooler air from the arctic to help cool the surface water. Many of these effect are driven by the Coriolis Effect.

The Soviet leader who began glasnost and perestroika was _____.
brilliants [131]

Answer: Mikhail Gorbachev

Explanation:

In March 1985, Mikhail Gorbachev proposed policies of perestroika (restructuring) and glasnost (openness) in the Soviet Union. These seemed like policies that leaned in the direction of Western ways of economics and politics. Perestroika meant allowing some measure of private enterprise in the Soviet Union. Glasnost meant allowing a bit of freedom in regard to speech and publication. But don't get the idea that Gorbachev was trying to get rid of the Soviet communist system. He actually was trying to prop it up and preserve it, because it was starting to have many problems sustaining itself. But in the end, opening things up a bit with perestroika and glasnost policies only pushed the USSR further in the direction of shedding the communist model under which it had lived for so long.
